Join Second Chance Pet Adoptions for the first Furry 5K to raise money for homeless pets on Saturday, November 3 at Bond Park in Cary, NC! The event includes two 5K runs, one for people only and one with people and dogs. There will aso be a 2K dog walk and 1K senior dog walk. We'll have lots of vendors, face painting, a micro chip clinic and demos! The event is fun for families, individuals and of course dogs! Join hundreds of people like you who care about animals and want to help save lives.

How do I get involved?

WALK: If you want to participate in the 2K dog walk or 1K senior dog walk, select the "Register" button to the left. From here you can choose to walk as an individual or you can form or join a team. You don't have to have a dog to participate - anyone is welcome to join in the fun. The money raised from this walk event will help homeless cats as well as dogs!

RUN: The same applies if you want to run! We have two 5K runs for you: one with dogs and one without! If you want to participate in either 5K run, select the "Register" button to the left. From here you can choose to run as an individual or you can form or join a team. The 5K will be timed by the wonderful folks at Precision Race.

VIRTUAL PARTICIPANT: You can also register as a virtual participant! This is for those who want to support Second Chance but can't attend the event or want to attend but don't want to run or walk. We will have plenty of vendors, demonstrations and goodies for those of you who want to support your friends and family while they run or walk!

DONATE: Would you like to support a walker or runner's fundraising efforts with a donation? Select the "Make a Pledge" button to the left. From here you can search for the name of the walk or run participant or team's home page. This will credit your gift to your selected walker.

SPONSOR OR BE A VENDOR: You can also be a sponsor or vendor! We have plenty of options for businesses - select the "Sponsorships" button to the left to see all of our opportunities. Individuals, friends and families can purchase a trail sponsorship!
